Young Landscapes was started by Kevin Young during his senior year of high school at Monty Tech in Fitchburg Massachusetts. He graduated with a cabinet making degree but loved his passion for working outdoors. During high school he worked for the Sterling Greenery doing both landscape installation and Garden Center duties. He learned the dos and don’ts by getting the experience of working with people at the garden center and on the installation crew. His experiences lead him to start Young Landscapes in March of 2006. He started his company by doing landscape Installation and stayed out of the landscape maintenance field with a goal to be a major landscape installation company. During the winter months Kevin took business seminars on the green industry and introduced himself to new and improved techniques for installing and running the business. Every year he has grown at least 30% and is on track to be Central Massachusetts’s leading outdoor living Specialist.
